O mais famoso cantor de música country do mundo, Garth Brooks, nasceu em Tulsa, Oklahoma, no dia 7 de fevereiro de 1962. A mãe do caçula foi cantora country nos anos 50. O filho herdou a vocação para a música, mas cantava somente nas festas de família.
